Catch-and-Release Fishing

Have you ever gone fishing in NYC? Join Brooklyn Bridge Park staff to learn about the ecology of the East River as you participate in a free catch-and-release fishing lesson at Pier 5! Presented in partnership with Maritime Youth Alliance. All equipment will be provided; humane hooks will be used. This free fishing program runs for two hours, with each participant/group allowed to fish with the rod for 30 minutes. No experience needed – all equipment and supplies are provided. Advance registration encouraged but not required; however, walk-up availability is not guaranteed. All participants must sign a waiver before participating. Free admission.
