Crème De La Femme Crème De La Femme is a queer burlesque revue — a slow-burning feast of sensuality, movement, and genderbending allure, live at Red Eye. Drenched in desire and dripping with style, each act melts boundaries through provocative choreography and irresistible charm, curated by some of the city’s most magnetic queer artists. It’s decadent, daring, and deliciously unapologetic. Our mission is to tantalize our audience, cultivate an intimate experience, and transcend notions of boundary within our performance. Our dancers blend various styles and techniques through movement that celebrate femininity. Young talent takes the forefront as we uplift queer voices in dance and choreography. Feminine queerness is beautiful, sexy, and compelling. The company highlights the crème de la crème of New York CIty’s finest femme. What sets us apart from our contemporaries is our commitment to refinement. While we welcome humor in our performance, our intention is to distance ourselves from stereotypes that insist queerness is inherently a joke. Our direct inspirations are Ballet 22 and Crazy Horse Paris.
