Depraved – Filmvorführung im IFC Center New York

Opens Monday, November 2, 2026 “It took 9 years shopping my modern Frankenstein to Hollywood after the collapse of my remake of THE ORPHANAGE for Guillermo del Toro. I eventually started building the set in a Brooklyn loft before I had full financing and I cast an unknown as the monster (as Boris Karloff had been in 1931). The result was a low budget re-telling of Mary Shelley’s masterpiece steeped in the national PTSD of the Iraq war and Pharmaceutical over-reach, with Alex Breaux as Adam, the doomed creature.” – Larry Fessenden, director Screening as part of our series Optic Nerve: A Tribute to Glass Eye Pix Previously screened as part of our Autumn 2019 series, Waverly Midnights: Late-Night Favorites.
